Texas Children’s Academy is a family owned and operated child care center. We welcome the opportunity to be a part of your extended family to ensure your child’s needs are met and that they are cared for in an educational, loving and nurturing environment. It is our goal to meet the needs of your family no matter how great or small. A member of our management team is always available to answer your questions or listen to your concerns.

The center has been open since February 2012. Our classrooms have been designed to provide a warm inviting atmosphere while emphasizing learning. Each classroom is set up with an educational learning wall and separate learning centers to help introduce math, reading, art, small and large motor skills as well as social development. Texas Children’s Academy provides all meals and snacks free of charge. You can rest assured that your child will be receiving healthy meals because we participate with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) thru the USDA. We are more than happy to meet (and many times exceed) the CACFP guidelines for serving the children nutritious foods. Our Watch Me Grow secure webcam system is offered to our families at no additional charge giving you the opportunity to see your children during your busy work day. We provide all these benefits and still maintain competitive tuition prices and corporate discounts that keep our academy among the most affordable for the families in our community.

Our staff

Our staff has over eighty years of combined early childhood experience. When choosing the best of the best, we look for qualities that align with our vision for the center. Once selected, we have an orientation process where each applicant learns all of our policies & procedures, and becomes familiar with our state licensing rules. They are properly trained in several topic areas including infant safe sleep practices, Blood Borne Pathogens, discipline techniques, health and safety rules for our center, and more. These trainings are completed before any staff person is allowed to work in the classrooms. All of our staff are also certified in child and adult CPR and First Aid as well.

We take pride in bringing you highly qualified teachers and assistants; every lead teacher meets or exceeds our state standards for teacher qualifications, and we make sure our assistants have the right combination of education and experience as well. We require that each staff member receives a minimum of 24 hours of additional training each year. This is accomplished through attending state conferences & seminars, on site staff meetings, and/or online trainings.

Each of our staff members has a love and a passion for working with children, and will go above and beyond to care for the needs of our families.
